Description of the stationary pallet changer FALCON WINGS
It is an innovative and compact stationary pallet changer station. FALCON WINGS performs the pallet change operation thanks to the equipment of two blades that are inserted at the base of the product to support and lift up safetely. This pallet changer is fully automatic and can be equipped with safety fences and safety light curtains.
It is a mobile pallet changer able of handling fragile products, which cannot be turned or tilted with a maximum weight of 1500 kg.
How does the pallet change operation take place?
The pallet change operation takes place through the side locking of the product and its lifting from the pallet to allow the replacement. In addition, two extended blades are inserted the base of the product and the pallet, providing a solid base that allows to lift up even the most unstable loads.
In fact, the operation of pallet replacement begins with the transport of the goods inside the pallet the fixed location. The product is blocked thanks to two side platforms that separate it from the pallet. The product, which is locked at this moment, is raised to allow two blades (FALCON WINGS) to extend between the base of the product and the pallet in order to provide solid support during lifting. When the product is firmly locked, the operator picks up the old pallet and inserts the new one. The operation ends by lowering down the product into the new pallet, with the opening of the side platforms and two supporting blades.
During the pallet changer operation, the product is clamped and lifted in total safety. The pressure applied to the load is very delicate thanks to the possibility of direct adjustment via a pressure gauge or a pressure selector preset on four positions.

Our stationary pallet inverter systems are supplied with safety system that do not allow access to the operators in the area in front of the machine. These are optional systems such as metal perimeter protection nets and safety photocells to limit access.

Falcon Wing is also available as a stationary machine.
The mobile pallet changers are very versatile systems as they do not need to reserve a specific area for the operation that can be performed in any production area. The mobile pallet changer also partially compensates for the use of the pallet truck as it allows the transport of the load inside the warehouse.
Our stationary station pallet turners, on the other hand, are used by customers who need to change a substantial number of pallets / h and can have a dedicated warehouse area for the pallet change operation.
