What is your need?

 

  1. FROM WOODEN PALLET TO PLASTIC PALLET: In many companies, there must be a separation between the goods reception area, where the shipping pallet generally made of woods are stopped, to the “white area” of the warehouse, where sanitized pallets (aluminum or plastic) are used. In our range of production there is also multiple dedusting cabins able to decontaminate the products and the air in order to maintain the certified environment.

 

  1. SAVINGS AND AUTOMATIC: For companies with large numbers of pallets to handle, we usually recommend automatic solutions, able to perform with many pallets every hour. Our system reduces the number of operators required for the production process and therefore the cost of labor.

Our pallet changers system can suit perfectly because they are able to handle heavy goods and / or fragile products whatever is the incoming pallet, replace it with a used one and center the product. It’s also possible to carry our automatic packaging operations.

 

  1. SHIPPING with SLIP SHEET WITHOUT PALLET: It’s essential to save on the transport cost of the shipment of finished products. The pallet represents an important cost for those with a high flow of outgoing products. In addition, without the use of the pallet in the shipment, companies greatly increase the number of products that can be stowed. Our Inverter pallet changer placed at the end of the production process, are able to insert automatically a slipsheet under the load, which will be ready for shipment without the pallet. The pallet stackers will automatically stack all the pallets removed.

 

  1. SAFETY and WORK REDUCTION FOR OPERATORS: Our Pallet Inverter significantly increase safety within the process, as the manual work of operators is seriously reduced. Our pallet Inverter systems are very safe as they are equipped with advanced safety systems. The access to dangerous areas is controlled by doors with sensors, photocells or laser scanners in order to prevent dangerous cycles.

 

  1. PICKING & AGV: We offer a logistics line able to automate the composition of the load. The pallet management is automated with the AGV system, in order to facilitate the operator in the composition of the load.

 

  1. CLEANING, DEDUSTING AND SANITIZING: In the production range with our pallet inverter can be implemented a sanitization or dedusting system. We usually supply these systems to companies that need to separate the “white” area from the “grey”. Where necessary, there are inserted few particle counters in order to check the cleanliness and sanitization of the air before opening the doors. The main objective is to avoid that too high numbers of particles remain suspended in certified atmospheres of UNI EN ISO 14644-1 certified environments (Federal Standard 209D, 209E in the United States).

Description of the Inline pallet changer “L.T.S”

This system is able to handle over 60 pallets / hour.

This is a fully automatic system that allows a very quick pallet replacement thanks to our pallet changer machine Toppy L.T.S. (Load Transfer System). The pallet changer includes two pallet stackers.

Both pallet stacker and pallet dispenser have a 20 pallets capacity. The links between machineries is made by a shuttle moving structure running in two direction. Here following we describe the logistic system sequences necessary to transfer a load of boxes/cases from one type of pallet to another.

Our machine is equipped of an automatic pneumatic centering system, the two-side plates complete of mousse gently hold the product already centered on the original pallet (stabilizing it) allowing a safe and controlled pallet change.

Thanks to the centering system the inbound and the outbound of the product on pallet will be maintained during the pallet replacement operation

 

How does the pallet change operation take place?

This system is able to work with different kind of pallet. The pallet changer cycle description below refers only to one way working, from origin GMA pallet to destination CHEP pallet.

The load on origin pallet, that needs to be replaced, is driven by a forklift onto the receiving deck (A) of the Toppy L.T.S. (Load Transfer System)

 

  1. The bottom platform of the pallet stacker is now positioned in the central receiving deck.
  2. The product on the origin pallet is released by the operator on the receiving deck, in this position the cycle can start as per following
  3. The two-side plates close on the product stabilizing it during the pallet change cycle.
  4. The GMA platform moves in the pallet stacker direction pushed by the plate in a synchronized run. Meanwhile the pallet dispenser releases a destination CHEP pallet on its bottom platform. The platform with the destination CHEP pallet follows the plate movement in order to position the receiving CHEP pallet under the plate inside the Toppy L.T.S. (Load Transfer System) receiving deck (A).
  5. Now the product is above the receiving deck plate.
  6. Below the receiving deck plate there is the bottom platform of the destination pallet stacker that has driven the empty CHEP pallet in the proper position to receive the load.
  7. The two-side plates open a little, the product is released on the receiving deck plate
  8. The deck plate runs back allowing the product to gently come down on the receiving CHEP pallet in a soft way. The 2 side-plates close to stabilize and center the product on the destination CHEP pallet. Meantime origin GMA pallet is stacked in the stacker.
  9. Now GMA pallet is replaced by a destination CHEP pallet under the product; the load is ready to be picked up by the forklift. The origin GMA pallet is being stacked in the proper pallet stacker.
  10. The bottom platform of the pallet stacker returns in the initial position on the central receiving deck. The stacker bottom platform returns to the initial position. Toppy L.T.S. (Load Transfer System) is ready for a new pallet change cycle.

What’s the difference between “mobile” and “stationary” pallet?

The mobile pallet changers are really versatile systems as they do not need to dedicate a specific area for the operation so can be performed in any production area. The stationary pallet changers partially compensate the use of the transpallet as it allows the transport of the loads inside the dispenser.

Our stationary pallet changer are used by customers who need to change a substantial number of pallets per hour and can’t have a dedicated area dedicated for the pallet change operation.

 

Pallet change logistics systems are required to automate consistent flows of goods on pallet. In order to manage large quantities of goods and to reduce personnel costs, we usually recommend our logistics lines.

How does it operates with fragile products?

Even the most fragile products are securely locked by the upper platform in order to safe the product.  The upper platform locks the products with a light pression managed by a shock absorber system and limit-switches that prevent the products to be crushed.
