In order to prevent the operator from handling sharp tools in uncomfortable positions that could lead to potential situations of professional risk, Toppy completes its logistics lines with an automatic film cutting station that cuts the plastic on the side. On request is possible to cut the wrap also under the pallet in order to prepare the load for the next pallet change operation with the Toppy overturning systems.
The automatic film engraving operation is carried out safely on our logistics lines, combined with the separation of the pallet from the overturning pallet changer, eliminates the manual operation, maximizing the performance of the line.
Loads are subjected to risky stresses as they are usually moved along uneven paths that can change the shape and profile of the product.
Therefore, checking the incoming load on the logistics line, checking its dimensions, weight, height, degree of inclination, the presence of twisted piles of product, allows you to transfer an important amount of information to the PLC of the line that can study corrective systems of the product during the next phase of pallet change.
The detection of a load displaced with respect to the perimeter of the pallet, then allows us to reposition it in the center of the receiving pallet to ensure greater stability of the product during transport or possible storage in automatic warehouses where the standardization of loads is the basis of system reliability and ensures maximum automation performance.
Thanks to the installation of photoelectric sensors on a special structure, the contour of the loads is checked and controlled in order to prevent excessively oversized products from hitting the logistics systems, damaging them and also causing unnecessary product losses.

Toppy pallet stacker allows an easy management of the single pallet, the translation and the correct positioning in and out from pallet changing station.
Adjustable pallet stackers allow to stack piles of pallets that are uniform to each other but with different dimensions: thanks to the automation of extension and reduction mechanisms, the pallet stacker emptied from the stack of pallets can be automatically adjusted according to the size of the pallet to be stacked.
Toppy pallet stackers are designed for different types of pallets they could be equipped with a buffer station to increase their storage capacity.
Pallet stackers are available in unloading / loading version of the pallet stack by forklift / transpallet or directly managed by the line.
A robust shockproof metal structure allows to handle a stack of 15 pallets, but are also available pallet stacker with an higher capacity.
The optional pallet detection devices alert the operator of the need to empty the almost full pallet stacker or to fill it when the pallets are running out.
The Toppy pallet stacker doesn’t require particular maintenance as they are equipped with simple mechanics correlated with an electro-pneumatic system. The particular compactness ensures a small footprint and an ergonomic lateral integration to the logistics line.
Toppy is able to integrate load weighing systems with the software of its line to control picking and depositing, with counter pieces and load matching functions. The integrated weighing cells with their displays complete the Toppy offer for a truly integral supervision and control service. The Toppy weighing station can communicate with the company management system for the coordination of information and a more complete traceability of loads.
Automatic centering system
This system is used with the pallet changer operation for centering the product on the pallet. When the products arrive inside the device must be centered in order to be then repositioned in the same position. The centering system, electric or pneumatic, is essential to center the product on the pallet. We explain in detail how the pallet centering operation takes place:
In order to avoid slipping of the packages or damage at the lower part of the product which rests on pallets, are used very frequently paper interlayers. The slip-sheets can be made of paper, cardboard or non-slip materials and are inserted between the load and the pallet.
Sturdy interlayers are then used for the shipment of loads without pallets, saving on volume and shipping pallet.
Toppy offers a range of solutions for the management, collection and / or positioning of the flap through special robotic arms with suction cups, suction or coupling systems able of retaining and / or transferring the flap as needed. The integration of interlayer handling systems with the logistics line is designed and ensured by our internal engineering.
Toppy provides on request a flexible integrated management system for the product labelled according to the customer’s needs. Thanks to a complete reader with camera, the label codes are read at the entrance of the line and the product information is transferred to the PLC which processes and transforms it according to the type of pallet that is changed. The load data associated with the final destination pallet is repositioned by the printed system and applied to the same initial load.
Systems supplied by Toppy are able to integrate with the most current company management systems. The automation of the labeling process allows you to safely transfer, safe from manual error. This system let you store information for possible future traceability of the load.
Our logistics systems can be supported by arms complete with remote control or ropes for the automatic rest and start cycle that do not require the operator to get off the forklift whenever the safety barriers are passed to rearm the line directly on the control panel.
